Activities > Dog-Friendly Activities
At Chalets Hygge, we are happy and proud to be able to welcome your four-legged companions to our cozy accommodations since our opening day in 2018! Being the proud parents of Lola (our dog) and Pépin (our cat) ourselves, it is important to us that your pets can accompany you and have an equally wonderful stay. Moreover, the Eastern Townships region offers many activities where you and your dog can have fun. Whether for small or large dogs, there is something for everyone. Therefore, we offer you some dog-friendly activities to experience in the region during your stay with us.

There's nothing like a good hike to discover the various landscapes of the region. Around our chalets, you and your dog have several choices. Among the many trails you can take, here are our top three favorites that we recommend for an incredible final view!

The Orford Cine-parc is only one of three left in Quebec!
So, what could be more nostalgic than an evening at the Cine Parc with family, friends, and dogs? Bring a blanket and chairs, a picnic, your dog, buy some popcorn, and voila...a summer evening perfectly made!
Check out the movies playing this week and the price of admission.
This immense and magnificent vineyard, located 30 minutes from our chalets, offers a delicious tasting experience to those who visit. On-site, you can stroll through the vineyards with your dog and conclude your visit with a tasting of the 12 finest wines of the estate.
You can bring your picnic to enjoy a nice lunch break in front of a beautiful panorama.
The winery hosts many special events, including a cock-tails event every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month during summer for dogs and their parents. Check out the events on their website. Google Maps Link
Located 1 hour from the chalets, this winery is worth the beautiful drive to the small village of Saint-Armand (where the Amazon series Three Pines was filmed!). Choose from a menu of wine-tasting experiences, bring a picnic, or purchase snacks and a charcuterie plate at the vineyard to accompany your favorite bottle of wine. Google Maps Link
As a pioneer of Quebec's wine industry, Le Cep d'Argent vineyard offers an unparalleled sparkling wine experience in Quebec. Located only 15 minutes from the chalets, the vineyard offers multiple experiences. Our favorite is the sabrage in the vineyard! Grab a pizza or takeaway meal from Deux Tomates and head next door to Canton Brasse microbrew to sample local beer, play games, and hang out with your dog. An additional perk is that Canton Brasse is dog-friendly inside, in addition to the terrace!
One of our favorite cafes that allow dogs on their terrace. In addition to the freshly made sandwiches, pastries, and donuts, it is the perfect morning coffee stop. It's also the perfect spot to stock up on tasty treats for the road. Google Maps Link
If you're looking for a beautiful terrace in Magog for a genuinely indulgent brunch, Enfants Terribles is the place to go. Dogs are allowed on a part of their terrace. Google Maps Link
Located on the front terrace of the Espace 4 Saisons hotel in Orford, Burger Pub has been open for several years and has become a favorite spot after sporting activities. The Pub offers a laid-back atmosphere for everyone, including dogs, who are welcome to visit! Google Maps Link
An open-air restaurant open only in summer, Le Petit Taco, is located at Pointe Merry with a breathtaking view of Lake Memphremagog. Take a walk along the trail in front of Lake Memphremagog and stop to enjoy a taco made from fresh and local ingredients. Google Maps Link

Although this restaurant is not dog-friendly, it is one of the establishments that offer fast delivery to our chalets. It is one of the best pasta restaurants in town that we always enjoy while dining at the chalet with your dog. Google Maps Link
